Powell Equipment is a manufacturing/sales company. Located in Beckley, West Virginia, it services the coal mining industry by manufacturing and servicing the latest designs in underground SCOOPS. Powell Equipment's goal is to become the leader in design, manufacturing, service and spare parts.

We operate in southern West Virginia. This location allows us to easily service all of West Virginia, Kentucky, Pennsylvania and Virginia. It is our intention to supply and service our products to all of the coal producing states.

The first machine is currently in operation at a Kentucky mine and additional machines are currently in production. Our industry compatible, comprehensive inventory allows us to provide service and spare parts to all makes and models currently operating in the field, as well as our own machines. A staff has been assembled to serve the needs of the coal industry for equipment sales, parts or service.
